The Fairfax County Police Department’s Traffic Division and Community Partnerships Bureau will be conducting a public safety and awareness initiative along the W&OD Trail in the McLean and Reston Districts. The primary goal is to educate the public and increase awareness regarding overall trail safety. Officers will be positioned at designated trail access points in both Districts and will engage with members of the public, provide safety information, and distribute educational materials.
