Make a splash this summer at Pirate’s Cove Waterpark, the largest pirate themed waterpark in Lorton! Loaded with fun features for everyone, Pirate’s Cove visitors will enjoy a large Pirate themed play structure complete with a 300-gallon dumping bucket! Pirate’s Cove also boasts a pair of thrilling waterslides.
Pirate’s Cove boasts a variety of fun features for kids of all ages. Kid friendly waterslides, water spraying palm trees, a large pool for splashing around and swimming and a spacious tot pool with a clam shell slide will entertain the entire family!
Dig for buried treasure at Buccaneer Beach, a large sand play area, or bask in the sun on our large deck!
Of course your day wouldn’t be complete without food, drinks and more! Captain’s Galley is stocked with all your favorites! View the menu. Sit outside under the umbrellas and enjoy a great lunch, then head back and cool off under the bucket! Pirate’s Cove also offers aquatic classes (groups, private, & semi-private).
Pirate's Cove offers two different picnic areas located right outside the waterpark and is available Memorial Day Weekend - Labor Day only .
Reservation requires a minimum purchase of 15 Pirate's Cove Waterpark passes - $8.50 per person weekdays and $11.00 per person weekends/holidays, to be purchased at the time the reservation is made. Each Picnic area has a maximum capacity of 20 individuals.

While you are enjoying our aquatic facilities, you can feel secure knowing that you are being closely monitored by licensed aquatics staff. “Safety is golden” is the mantra of our staff, who take their jobs seriously and hold the safety of you and your family in the highest regard. They are regularly tested for equipment readiness, situation recognition and professionalism. Swim with care, but do so knowing that our team of guards is ready to assist you should the need arise. A Fun, Affordable Pool/Water Park
Been going here for the last 10+ years. My kids love it and it’s a fun, affordable pool/water park. They keep the pool clean so I have no issues when swimming in it. They also have plenty of seating for both lounging and a separate area for eating. The snack bar is convenient and comparable in prices to other water parks in ffx county. It can get really busy and reach capacity sometimes but that’s expected and understandable.

We Had a GREAT Time!
We had a GREAT time! The staff at the front entrance were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcomed and understood the rules and regulations of the park. The lifeguards are super attentive and made us feel safe during our stay. The pool manager was kind and friendly when we encountered him. The concessions stand was fast and efficient, the food was great and an affordable price! Lastly on our way out the staff at the front went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and made sure our stay met our expectations! Overall we are very pleased :)

Perfect Place for Birthday Parties!
We had two birthday parties there. The deck is huge for the parties (a total of 3 rectangular tables and 3 hexagonal tables) and there is a huge umbrella for shade. The food included in the party is plenty. The water rides, pool and slides are perfect for any birthday person ranging from age 3 to age 13. Our party assistants have always been great! All my guests had fun.
