Make a splash this summer at Pirate’s Cove Waterpark, the largest pirate themed waterpark in Lorton! Loaded with fun features for everyone, Pirate’s Cove visitors will enjoy a large Pirate themed play structure complete with a 300-gallon dumping bucket! Pirate’s Cove also boasts a pair of thrilling waterslides.
Pirate’s Cove boasts a variety of fun features for kids of all ages. Kid friendly waterslides, water spraying palm trees, a large pool for splashing around and swimming and a spacious tot pool with a clam shell slide will entertain the entire family!
Dig for buried treasure at Buccaneer Beach, a large sand play area, or bask in the sun on our large deck!
Of course your day wouldn’t be complete without food, drinks and more! Captain’s Galley is stocked with all your favorites! Sit outside under the umbrellas and enjoy a great lunch, then head back and cool off under the bucket! Pirate’s Cove also offers aquatic classes (groups, private, & semi-private).

Know Before You Go
While you are enjoying our aquatic facilities, you can feel secure knowing that you are being closely monitored by licensed aquatics staff. “Safety is golden” is the mantra of our staff, who take their jobs seriously and hold the safety of you and your family in the highest regard. They are regularly tested for equipment readiness, situation recognition and professionalism. Swim with care, but do so knowing that our team of guards is ready to assist you should the need arise. Enjoy your day at our waterparks!
To protect the health and safety of our employees and guests, we follow the Center for Disease Control's recommendations.
Exposure to COVID-19 is an inherent risk in any public location where people are present. No one with a fever or symptoms of COVID-19 or known exposure to a COVID-19 case in the prior 14 days, is permitted in the waterpark.
Hours of operation have been adjusted to maximize use. Please check social media or www.novaparks.com for updates about weather closures, capacity, or other changes.
Face coverings for un-vaccinated guests should be worn when entering the waterpark; when in line at food and retail areas, in locker rooms and restrooms, or when 6’ social distance cannot be maintained.
Annual Waterpark Passes are valid this year, but do not guarantee admission when the waterpark is at capacity.
The waterpark and some features may be running at limited capacity due to staffing levels.
If the waterpark is at capacity, you may have to wait in line to re-enter. Admission is not guaranteed based on passholder status or online ticket purchase (where applicable).
Lifeguards are focused on scanning the water, not enforcing mask-wearing. If you have a concern, please ask to speak to a manager and discuss your concerns.

This place is amazing
....it's especially great for family and kids. It costs just $8 to get in and kids under 2 are free. They offer free life jackets. There is a shallow section for kids and a mega section for adults. All in all, i would strongly recommend that you make this place one of your must-go this summer.
