Launch Your Boat for a Day on the Occoquan Reservoir
Whether your sport is fishing, kayaking, or hiking, Bull Run Marina in Clifton, Virginia provides easy access to the Occoquan Reservoir. We’re situated at an entry point for the 19.7 mile Bull Run Occoquan Trail. Park and use our boat launch to begin a day on the water. The Bull Run Marina also houses a scholastic rowing facility, home base for the area’s high school competitive rowing teams.
While currently unstaffed, those wishing to launch watercraft at the marina may purchase a season pass and gate key at Fountainhead Regional Park (703-250-9124), located downstream at 10875 Hampton Road. Those wishing to hike the trails or fish from the shore may park in the lot across and up the road from the marina and walk down, keeping in mind that all patrons must be out of the park by dark.

It's a great place to launch boats, kayaks, canoes, or paddle boards
It's a great place to launch boats, kayaks, canoes, or paddle boards. There is also a good hiking trail. The parking lot across the street is free and where you have to park if you are hiking or do not have a key for the marina gate. I would not advise parking here if you do not have a key, even if the gate it open. You could get locked inside.
