Highly recommend for nature enthusiasts

Many trails to bike and hike as well as some scenic views. A good place for photographers and athletes alike. Also near occoquan, it allows a good distance from some good food. Has an open field for events, as well as easily accessible parking. Highly reccomend for nature enthusiasts.

Great place to enjoy a hike, boating, or fishing

For a visit to the outdoors, this is a great place to enjoy a hike, boating, or fishing. For fishermen (amateur to pro) there's an awesome pier, with benches and plenty of room to spread out. You can while away a few good hours without realizing it. The bathrooms are clean (I experienced them midday on a weekday, YMMV). I didn't order anything at the snack shop, but they had an exceptional menu. Boats are available by the snack shop, along with a game of minigolf. Very nice area for the great outdoors.

Nice gem tucked away in a quiet area

Really nice park - beautiful and secluded. Well maintained trails, covered picnic pavilions, big parking area, even a few bike trails (easy, medium, advanced). Walked my dogs on a Sunday evening on Bull Run Occoquan Trail and saw just a few people - lots of dogs. Nice gem tucked away in a quiet area.
