This park is a natural jewel

This park is a natural jewel in middle of Cherrydale. Perfect for a short and energetic outdoor workout, clear your mind and be in contact with nature. Their trails are well-maintained. Thanks to the administration and volunteers.

Owl Feeding Program

I brought my Cub Scout Den, and the boys loved the entire program, both inside and outside. The guides were so great and patient with the boys.

Your visit was wonderful. Your staff have a lovely way with the children and they were completely engaged throughout your presentation. Thank you for coming and sharing your knowledge and love of these birds with us.

St. Stephens and St. Agnes School Field trip at PORP

Thank you for hosting the 6th graders from St. Stephens and St. Agnes School on Wednesday. We had a wonderful time. The presentation was fascinating. The students were hanging on his every word. The animals were amazing. We dearly appreciated being in the comfort of the indoor auditorium. As we walked the trail and processed all we had heard, I commented to a student that I has just learned so much new information. He agreed with a fervent nod, wide eyes and a breathless "Me too". The trail turned out to be a highlight. We look forward to hopefully returning next year and seeing your renovated nature center.
