Ocean Dunes waterpark
Stay Cool and Slide at Ocean Dunes Waterpark in Upton Hill Regional Park
Make it a beach day — with waterslides — at the beach-themed Ocean Dunes Waterpark in Arlington’s Upton Hill Regional Park. Find excitement on our 230-foot open slide, or 170-foot covered waterslide, or set the kids free in the play area to splash, slide and play in the water jets. Our 500-gallon dumping bucket is a favorite hangout during the hottest days of the year. Sliding is hard work! Take a break under the shade umbrellas and order a meal at the snack shack. Our daily rates are always reasonable, or buy an Annual Waterpark Pass to visit all five NOVA waterparks all summer long.
Features & Attractions
Located within Upton Hill Regional Park, Ocean Dunes is loaded with fun features for adults and kids. Ocean Dunes includes a 500-gallon dumping bucket, water slides, waterfalls and squirters! Visitors will find themselves amidst dune grasses and the feeling of being at the beach, but without the drive! Our waterslides offer a pair of riveting rides, including 230 feet of fun on the open slide, or a thrilling 170 foot ride in complete darkness on the closed slide! A large main pool offers splashing and swimming space for everyone. The centerpiece of Ocean Dunes, this play feature has tube slides, open slides, fountains, squirters, platforms and of course, the giant 500-gallon dumping bucket. Positioned on concrete with zero accumulated depth, the play feature is great for young and old alike.
Our challenging and fun miniature golf course is right next to the waterpark, and offers 18 holes of fun! The course mixes a good blend of longer, tougher holes with ones that are short and good targets for holes-in-one. Whether you go during the day or evening, mini golfing is a fun activity for friends and family. Challenge the kids to some healthy competition or just leisurely putt around the courses.
We also feature six baseball cages, including Slow, Medium and Fast pitch speeds; and three softball cages, including Slow and Fast pitch speeds. Bats and helmets are provided free of charge. Closed-toed shoes are required.
