Become a Junior Ranger and earn a NOVA Parks patch! Keep yourself and the environment safe by practicing preparedness and learning to spot local wildlife. During this program, you can also enjoy a hands-on visit from a native species that lives in the Nature Center! Activities will be self-paced, with assistance provided by our naturalist. 

  • $8 per participant for ages 6 and up. Any attendee over 6 (to include adults) is considered a participant.
  • Children must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Meet at the nature center.
  • All participants must register in advance. Only registered participants will receive a patch.
