W&OD Trail-October 25-November 16-Dry Mill Road over Washington & Old Dominion Trail bridge rehabilitation

Beginning at 10 p.m. Friday, Oct. 24, Dry Mill Road (Route 699) will be closed to through traffic for approximately three weeks between the Route 9 (Charles Town Pike)/Route 7 Business (Colonial Highway) intersection and Woodburn Road (Route 769) for Dry Mill Road over Washington & Old Dominion Trail bridge rehabilitation project.  The Washington & Old Dominion Trail will remain open at all times; the existing protective canopy on the trail at the bridge will be extended outward for trail users’ safety. Trail users may encounter temporary stoppages at the bridge; if they do, such stoppages will last no more than 15 minutes.
