Bundle up and bring your curiosity! Join NOVA Parks Roving Naturalist Matt Felperin for a guided winter bird walk. Winter is a wonderful time to spot birds who call Meadowlark home, as many species are easier to see among bare branches and quiet landscapes.

Perfect for first-time bird watchers, this engaging walk will include tips on how to use binoculars effectively, along with best practices for spotting and identifying birds in winter. Expect a 60-minute walk over hilly terrain as we explore the gardens and natural areas together.

  • Adults and children, ages 7+
  • $10 per person with loaner binoculars provided.
  • Online registration is required.
  • Please wear walking shoes and dress warmly for the weather.
  • Meet inside the Visitor Center.
