New Year's Eve Nature Therapy: Reflect & Renew

Next Date
Welcome a healthy New Year with reflection and renewal through nature therapy at Meadowlark Botanical Gardens. Join certified nature and forest therapy guide Ilana Rubin of Kindred Nature for a peaceful morning mini-retreat away from the usual routines. This weekday practice offers a special opportunity to reset and refresh when the gardens are at their most serene.
About Nature Therapy
Also known as forest therapy or shinrin-yoku, this practice offers a restorative way to reduce stress, boost creativity, and rediscover your connection with the natural world. This experience is designed for all abilities and welcomes anyone seeking deep connection, inner peace, and a fresh start.
Your Experience
Guided by Ilana Rubin (Kindred Nature), you will be led through simple mindfulness and sensory nature practices in the spring woodland to help you connect with yourself. We may take a gentle walk of about a mile on a mix of paved and unpaved paths at a relaxed pace. The experience includes moments of reflection and warm-hearted sharing within a supportive group. Each gathering is shaped by the season, the surroundings, and those present. We’ll close with tea, light snacks, and gratitude in the garden.
