Discover the sounds of the gardens, woodlands, and lakes — and the birds that create them. Join Roving Naturalist and avid birder/photographer Matt Felperin for a relaxed and engaging morning bird walk, followed by some yummy bagels!

In birding, your ears are just as important as your eyes — learning to recognize birdsongs is the key to finding and identifying species in the field. Matt will share tips for tuning in, distinguishing common calls, and sharpening your observation skills.

After our stroll, gather to share sightings and enjoy delicious bagels together.

The cost is $15 per person and includes the guided bird walk, loaner binoculars, and bagels. Online registration is required. Participants must be at least 6 years old. No refunds. Raincoats are encouraged in the event of light rain.

Perfect for beginner and seasoned birders alike — bring your curiosity and your appetite!
