This Veteran’s Day, we honor George William Carlyle, who was killed at the Battle of Eutaw Springs on September 8, 1781, at the age of 15. Discover the house on a tour led by our resident expert on George William and learn more about the young man whom Light Horse Harry Lee would later describe in his memoirs as “the gallant young Carlisle of Alexandria.”

Reservations are recommended but not required. This program is non-refundable unless the museum cancels the event.
