Camp Overlook

Camp Overlook 2022

Camp Overlook explores the close-to-home natural world with children entering grades K through 11 at Potomac Overlook Regional Park. Our camp staff works hard to create a curriculum that weaves unique activities and investigations with familiar annual traditions. Activities at Camp Overlook are designed to be engaging, challenging, educational, and fun! We highly value and encourage inclusion of all campers in all activities. Engaging activities include live animal interactions, nature hikes, team games, survival skills, habitat restoration projects, scavenger hunts, nature crafts, field trips to other parks and much more!

Camp Overlook continues to follow CDC and state guidelines to limit exposure to COVID-19. If you have questions or concerns about camp, please do not hesitate to contact our camp leadership team at campoverlook@nvrpa.org.

For the 2022 Camp Overlook camp sessions, no extended care options are offered and camp field trips are contingent on COVID-19 guidelines. The camp season will begin on Tuesday, June 21st in observance of the Juneteenth federal holiday.
