A little birdy said you might like this program! Learn about local avian life while on a birding hike with a NOVA Parks Naturalist and practice calls, meet a live bird of prey, make a bird feeder to take home, play a game of “Blind Owl,” and more! Throughout the program, participants will learn about bird diversity, how to ID them, and how people and wildlife can coexist. 

  • Program Fee: $12 per participant ages 7 and up.  
  • Participants: Children must be accompanied by an adult. Any attendee over 7 (to include adults) is considered a participant.
  • Registration: Registration closes the day prior to the program. All participants must preregister.  
  • Meet at the Nature Center.
