This 4th installment of Potomac Overlook’s new adult art workshop series will include new ways to take photos of natural objects and creatures in the park! We will be joined by a guest instructor, NOVA Parks' Roving Naturalist Matt Felperin, whose photography has recently been featured in National Geographic! No need for a high-end camera; any digital device that can take pictures will work, i.e. phones, tablets, or digital cameras. Participants will learn pro tips on setting up a scene, finding the best angle, and using lighting to make your subject stand out. Light refreshments will be provided.

  • Program Fee: $20 per participant for ages 18 and up. No children or pets permitted.
  • Participants: All attendees are considered participants.
  • Registration: Registration closes the day prior to the program. All participants must register in advance. Drop-ins will not be accepted.
  • Please plan to arrive 15 minutes early to allow time for the walk from the parking lot to the Nature Center.
