Preschool Nature Nuts, get ready to roll up your sleeves and dig in! In this hands-on garden adventure, children, ages 2-4, will become junior gardeners as they explore the joys of digging, planting flowers, and watering in the garden.

We’ll sing fun gardening songs and get our hands dirty while learning how plants grow. Each child will plant seeds in a small pot to take home and care for as they watch it sprout and grow. Please dress for mess! Children should wear closed-toe shoes and clothes that can get dirty—we’ll be working with soil, water, and lots of enthusiasm! This hands-on, nature-filled adventure is perfect for young budding botanists and their caregivers!

  • $10 per preschooler
  • For children ages 2-4 and their parents / guardians
  • Online registration is required.
  • Register soon as space is limited. There is no waitlist or refunds.
  • Please dress for the weather.

Although we try to be outside for a portion of the program, in the event of severe weather, all activities will be indoors. Please check in at the Visitor Center.
