Just a Walk - A Free Peek at Meadowlark

Enjoy free garden admission and a guided walk around Meadowlark Botanical Gardens' 95 acres on Tuesdays. Each 75-minute walk will be over uneven, hilly terrain, have a positive focus, and include a silent, meditative portion and a few interesting facts from our docent along the way.

  • This program is for ages 18 and older.
  • The walk is free, and garden admission is free for participants of this program.
  • These walks start promptly at 10:15am. Please meet in the Visitor Center.
  • Weather permitting.
  • Participants should wear good walking shoes, dress for the weather, and bring a bottle of water.  
  • This is a drop-in activity. No reservations are required.

Can You Conquer Climb UPton?

Take on the largest ropes course in the Mid-Atlantic with 90 elements across three challenge levels. Climb UPton is open Wed. & Thurs., 4-8pm, Fri. 4-9pm and Sat. & Sun. 10am-9pm.

Plan for Fall Fun at Temple Hall Farm Pumpkin Patch & Flower Fields

Pick your own pumpkin and flowers, take a wagon ride, visit the farm animals, bounce on inflatable pillows, slide down hill slides, and more! Open daily September 26 through November 3. Visit opening weekend for an in augural Pumpkin Blast by NOVA Parks' Executive Director on Saturday, Sept. 26 at 11:45am and live music between noon-4pm both days.
