Join a fun and creative hands-on activity where kids can make their very own percussion instruments using simple, playful materials. Then, bring those instruments to the Music in the Gardens: A Memorial Day Tribute in Brass concert from 3–4 PM in the Korean Bell Garden. During the performance, musicians from the Virginia Chamber Orchestra will invite young audience members to join in and add their rhythm to the music!

This drop-in activity is free with garden admission or membership—a perfect way for children to celebrate Memorial Day through creativity, sound, and community.
