HOW DOES THE SAFETY SYSTEM WORK?
We use full body harnesses combined with Clic-it® continuous belay system. The Clic-it® system prevents accidental unclipping, as when one carabiner is open, the second one is automatically locked, safely securing climbers to the cable system.

WILL THE HARNESS FIT ME?  CAN I BRING MY OWN HARNESS?
Our full body harnesses are adjustable to each climber.  Only Climb UPton equipment may be used.

ARE THERE PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS?
This is an entire body workout but you do NOT need to be an athlete to Climb UPton. Sufficient manual dexterity is needed to be able to maneuver around the park independently. You must be able to comfortably reach above your head to operate the  Clic-it® system.  If you are able to pull yourself a few inches off the ground with your arms and walk up 2 set of stairs you can do it!  Guests with special requirements are required to visit the park and meet with our guides to determine if they can climb.

CAN I CLIMB UPTON IF I AM AFRAID OF HEIGHTS?
If you are worried about your legs and hands shaking, do not fear you are not alone. This is a great activity to overcome those challenges and conquer your fear of heights in a safe environment. Our guides are there to assist and coach you throughout this aerial journey.  Each climber has the ability to choose their own path, we call this “Challenge by Choice.” This includes the decision to choose only elements of the park that they are comfortable trying.

CAN I DO THE COURSE IF I HAVE A PRE-EXISTING MEDICAL CONDITION?
We strongly advise guests with pre-existing medical conditions to check with their doctor prior to making a reservation.

You will receive a safety briefing and demonstration by our trained guides, known as Gravity Pros, before you begin your adventure. You will be monitored by our trained guides stationed on the course. The guides can provide assistance if needed and give you tips and tricks to conquer the obstacles and to ensure that you are safe and having fun. If you believe you or your child may need extra support from staff during the climb, please contact us in advance to make arrangements.
