Camp Counselor Position 

Camp Winkler is now hiring Camp Counselors! We are seeking highly motivated individuals with a passion for education and nature who can commit to the full camp season, June 15 through August 7. Lead camp activities that include live animal interactions, nature hikes, team games, survival skills, scavenger hunts, nature crafts, and much more!

Applicants must be 18 years or older, have experience working with children, enjoy outdoor environments, and demonstrate a strong work ethic.

Volunteer Program

Camp Winkler is seeking volunteers for the 2026 summer camp season, including adult volunteers and Counselors in Training.

• Adult volunteers: commit to one week of camp during the summer and assist paid staff with daily activities and programs.
• Counselors in Training: commit to one week of camp and develop leadership skills while working alongside paid and volunteer staff to support campers with projects and activities.
