Camp Winkler
Camp Winkler is returning in 2023! Camp Winkler explores the natural world with children entering grades 1 through 5 at Winkler Botanical Preserve. Activities at Camp Winkler are designed to be engaging, challenging, educational, and fun! We highly value and encourage the inclusion of all campers in all activities. Engaging activities include building skills, songs, STEAM activities, investigations, and crafts.
Wiggle Worms (entering 1st grade and 2nd grade)
Wiggle Worms is a half-day camp for youth entering grade 1 and grade 2. Campers will focus on one of the five main senses each day as they learn about the natural world. Through songs, STEAM activities, and fun discoveries, we'll acquire building skills, make careful observations and seek answers as we explore the land and grounds of this beautiful 44-acre park.

Outdoor Explorers (entering 3rd grade through 5th grade)
Outdoor Explorers is a full-day camp for youth entering grade 3 through grade 5. Campers will explore ecology through a focus on the five elements of Earth, Air, Water, Fire, and Spirit. We’ll unearth talents, be inspired, absorb knowledge, ignite passion and develop an affection for the plants and animals that surround us. We’ll learn about environmental roles through crafts and experiments, adventure through our grounds, and get up close and personal to some animal friends.
Cost: $390 per camper in jurisdiction* / $440 per camper out of jurisdiction
