Celebrate some of Virginia’s most unique and beautiful flowers! Discover why Swamp Rose Mallows are a favorite for pollinators and learn to paint their delicate blooms. Led by NOVA Parks' Roving Naturalist, this event will include a short nature walk to view the flowers up close, followed by a painting workshop showcasing simple techniques to capture these gorgeous, blooming native plants.

  • Program Fee: $15 per participant for ages 10 and up.
  • Participants: Children must be accompanied by an adult. Any attendee over 10 (including adults) is considered a participant.
  • Registration: Registration closes 2 days prior to the program. All participants must register in advance.
  • Meet at Catherine’s Lodge Porch at 10:00 AM
