What’s that sound? Wood frogs abound! These woodland amphibians are a welcoming sign that spring is just around the corner. See (and hear) some of these ribbeting animals at Potomac Overlook’s frog pond, and learn about a fascinating adaptation that helps them survive the cold winter.

  • Program Fee: $7 per participant for ages 5 and up.
  • Participants: Children must be accompanied by an adult. Any attendee over 5 (to include adults) is considered a participant.
  • Registration: Registration closes the day prior to the program. All participants must register in advance.   
  • Meet at the Nature Center.

The most wonderful time of the year is here! NOVA Parks’ three holiday light shows are NOW OPEN.
