Art in the Park: Fall Leaf Print Workshop

Capture the colors of the season in this nature art class just for adults! Participants will have the opportunity to learn a little more about the different types of hardwood trees that call Potomac Overlook home, then use some of their fallen leaves to create unique mono-prints using gel plates and acrylic paint.
Basic instruction and all supplies for the mono-prints will be provided and participants will take home everything they create during the class. This class is for those 18 years old and above, no children or pets please. Participants should dress to be both inside and outside, and in clothes you don’t mind getting paint on. Light refreshments will also be served. Please be sure to arrive 10-15 mins early to allow for the time to walk from the parking lot to the Nature Center.
- Program fee: $20 per participant for ages 18 and up.
- Participants: Any attendee is considered a participant.
- Registration: Registration closes the day prior to the program. ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST PREREGISTER.
- Day of: Meet at the nature center. Please call the nature center at 703-528-5406 if you are running late or can no longer attend.
