Pohick Bay Regional Park
Boat Rental
Explore the environmental wonders of the Pohick Bay area by renting one of the many boats available at Pohick Bay Regional Park. The park’s fleet consists of pedal boats, single kayaks, double kayaks, canoes, and stand-up paddleboards. Pohick Bay Regional Park offers hourly and 4-hour rentals for those interested in exploring Pohick Bay and the surrounding area. Rental boats are launched from the shore or dock.
- Participants must be ages 18 years or older with a valid driver’s license, or other valid identification, in order to rent any boat.
- Participants ages 12 to 17 years must be accompanied by an adult at least 18 years or older in the same, or separate, boat (paddling within proximity to one another).
- Participants ages 11 years and under must be accompanied in the same boat by an adult at least 18 years or older. They may not paddle solo or operate a stand-up paddleboard.
- Participants must be ages 16 years or older to operate a stand-up paddleboard.
- A personal flotation device (PFD) is required for each person on the water.
Please note: Pets are not permitted in rental boats.
HOURS OF OPERATION:
Last rental is 1.5 hours prior to posted closing time. Late fees will be applied to vessels returning after the posted return time.

- Stay & Play BOGO: During their stay, campers can buy one boat rental on Fridays and get one free for the same timeframe. Not applicable holidays. Proof of active reservation required.
