In the 19th century, James Green renovated John Carlyle’s stone mansion to reflect the architectural tastes of the time. When NOVA Parks acquired Carlyle House in 1970, a decision was made to restore the structure to its 18th-century appearance. Guided by experts, this program offers an in-depth look at those changes, exploring how architects approached both renovation and restoration using photographs and historical artifacts.

Program Fee: $8 per person
