Ever wonder which spooky local legends roam these woods after dark? Join us for an after-hours nature walk exploring the DMV’s most haunting creatures, from the Clifton Bunny Man to the Maryland Snallygaster. You’ll uncover the origins of these eerie tales, learn about the real animals that may have inspired them, and decide for yourself whether these cryptids could still be lurking nearby. Make sure to wear sturdy shoes and bring water.

  • Program Fee (covers all materials needed): $10 per participant for ages 10 and up.
  • Participants: Children must be accompanied by an adult. Any attendee over 10 is considered a participant.
  • Registration: Registration closes the day prior to the program. All participants must register in advance.
  • Location: Registered participants should meet at the Atlantis Waterpark Parking Lot at 7pm.

Can You Conquer Climb UPton?

Take on the largest ropes course in the Mid-Atlantic with 90 elements across three challenge levels. Climb UPton is open Wed. & Thurs., 4-8pm, Fri. 4-9pm and Sat. & Sun. 10am-9pm.

Plan for Fall Fun at Temple Hall Farm Pumpkin Patch & Flower Fields

Pick your own pumpkin and flowers, take a wagon ride, visit the farm animals, bounce on inflatable pillows, slide down hill slides, and more! Open daily September 26 through November 3. Visit opening weekend for an in augural Pumpkin Blast by NOVA Parks' Executive Director on Saturday, Sept. 26 at 11:45am and live music between noon-4pm both days.
