Join Guest speaker James (Jay) G. Harrison III to learn about his archaeological discoveries at Aldie Mill.

In the early 1990s, Jay Harrison and his team from his former cultural resource management firm of Harrison & Associates led two archaeological investigations at Aldie Mill. Join us as Jay leads us through their discoveries at our early 19th century historical site. Learn about their findings in the headrace of the larger merchant mill and inside the smaller country mill. Afterwards, join Jay on a walk around both mills to look at the locations explored many years ago and view some of the artifacts discovered.

  • Cost: $10 admission fee for adults. Cash only.
