Bull Run Festival of Lights

FAQ

Where can I buy tickets?

Tickets can be purchased online starting Monday, October 6. Only one ticket is needed per vehicle. Purchasing your ticket online will give you the best available price, and allow you to reserve the specific day and time that you would like to attend. You can also add a 2025 Annual Ornament and Holiday Glasses (see a picture in every point of light!) to your online ticket purchase.

Do I have to turn off my headlights?

Please turn off your headlights during your drive through Bull Run Festival of Lights for the best viewing experience. The road through the show is lined with lights on both sides and provides enough visibility should you choose to turn off your headlights. However, we recognize that not all vehicle makes and models have the option to turn headlights completely off.

Can I get out of my car?

Please do not get out of your car during the show! There are many cords, stakes, and wiring that hold up the displays that are not visible in the dark, and we do not want anyone to get injured. You may park and exit your car at the end of the show to enjoy the Holiday Village's walk-through lights and photo ops. Restrooms are also available at the end of the show.

Do you close when it snows/rains?

The show itself will typically remain open during rain or snow. If heavy rain causes flooding, or heavy snow makes it unsafe to drive, the show will close. The best way to check the status during inclement weather is to visit the Bull Run Festival of Lights Facebook page or call the park at 703.631.0550 and press 0 to speak with an attendant.

Are there any discounts?

Discounts are only available via promo code with online ticket sales. Promo codes may be found on this website and other advertising.
