On October 16, 2025, the gate at the Mt. Hope reservoir access point will remain closed, as improvements are made to the gravel parking area. Hikers and boaters may access the trail and launch vessels from Reservoir Park. Hikers completing the full trail loop may still cut across Mt. Hope on foot to continue their route.
