Scouting America: First Aid Merit Badge

Through demonstrations, activities, and discussion, scouts will “Be Prepared” to handle situations requiring First Aid and earn their First Aid Merit Badge.
Scouts should bring a bagged lunch, signed blue card and have completed the following requirements:

Requirement 1: Demonstrate current knowledge of first aid rank requirements. Most will be done in class, but the following need to be completed and brought to class:

Tenderfoot 4d: Assemble a personal first aid kit: bring it to class

First Class 7d: Tell the utility services of your home or meeting place, describe potential hazards associated with these utilities and how to respond in emergency situations.

First Class 7e: Develop an emergency action plan for your home.

Requirement 5a: Prepare a first aid kit for your home: bring it or pictures of its contents to class

Requirement 5b: Inspect your troop's first aid kit, evaluate it for completeness, report findings to Scout Leader. Please bring a statement from your leader that this has been completed.
