The Occoquan Chase, sponsored by the George Mason Crew Club, is the second of the fall head races. The 3-mile course starts upriver from Sandy Run, above Jacob’s Rock. It follows a gently winding path past the launch site, finishing at the first set of overhead power lines beyond the grandstand viewing area.
