The Healing draws you into a world where the past is not distant, but alive with the voices of those who witnessed the Civil War's most human moments. Experience the heartbreak, courage, and resilience of the nurses who cared for wounded and dying soldiers on both sides of the conflict.

Through the intimate perspectives of a Union nurse and a Confederate nurse, portrayed by Linda Harrison and Dawn Diehl, the war unfolds not as a series of battles, but as a deeply personal story of sacrifice, compassion, and endurance amid unimaginable hardship. Their accounts reveal the weight of duty, the pain of loss, and the enduring hope that mercy and humanity could survive even the darkest days of war.

Can You Conquer Climb UPton?

Take on the largest ropes course in the Mid-Atlantic with 90 elements across three challenge levels. Climb UPton is open Wed. & Thurs., 4-8pm, Fri. 4-9pm and Sat. & Sun. 10am-9pm.

Plan for Fall Fun at Temple Hall Farm Pumpkin Patch & Flower Fields

Pick your own pumpkin and flowers, take a wagon ride, visit the farm animals, bounce on inflatable pillows, slide down hill slides, and more! Open daily September 26 through November 3. Visit opening weekend for an in augural Pumpkin Blast by NOVA Parks' Executive Director on Saturday, Sept. 26 at 11:45am and live music between noon-4pm both days.
