Join Matt Felperin, NOVA Parks' Roving Naturalist, for a special paddle under the stars during the Orionid Meteor Shower. Learn more about this natural phenomenon while you search for constellations and satellites. Begin with a brief paddling overview before heading out to take in the night sky. Program includes experienced guide, kayak rental, paddle, and Personal Flotation Device (PFD). Previous kayaking experience is suggested but not required.

  • Children under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
  • Admission is $35 for ages 13+
  • Meet at boat rentals.
  • Bring plenty of water and wear appropriate clothing; quick-dry material is recommended along with close-toed sandals. Dry bags are recommended for personal items. 

Weather conditions can be unpredictable. Guides will assess conditions at the time of the tour. If conditions are unsafe, the trip will be rescheduled or canceled. In the event of a cancellation, a full refund will be issued.
