Bull Run Marina

Notice of Available Space at NOVA Parks’ Bull Run Marina for the Purposes of Operating a Scholastic Rowing Program

NOVA Parks, which owns and operates Bull Run Marina in Clifton, VA has an opening for a public high school to use and occupy areas of the facility for the purpose of operating a scholastic rowing program. 

Storage space is currently available for up to seven (7) rack spaces, as well as associated space for storage of equipment, launches, and trailers.  Rack spaces can accommodate one eight (8), or multiple smaller shells (fours or doubles). Additional rack space may be available in the future, with up to three (3) additional racks available for a total of no more than ten (10) racks.  Rack space is inside an enclosed Boathouse tent.  Storage fees are assessed monthly for rack space.

Storage and practice space is shared with Lake Braddock Secondary School.

NOVA Parks’ intent is to fill the vacant space with a scholastic team from a public high school within NOVA Parks’ participating jurisdictions:  Counties of Arlington, Fairfax, or Loudoun or the Cities of Alexandria, Fairfax, or Falls Church.

The rowing team approved to fill the vacancy will be required to sign an MOU with NOVA Parks and provide an appropriate certificate of insurance.
