Discover what makes fall at Algonkian Regional Park so special! Join NOVA Parks' naturalist for a relaxed morning guided hike to search for seasonal changes, observe plants and animals, and enjoy all the sights, sounds, and scents of autumn in the park. Make sure to wear sturdy shoes and bring water.

  • Program Fee (covers all materials needed): $10 per participant for ages 7 and up.
  • Participants: Children must be accompanied by an adult. Any attendee over 7 is considered a participant.
  • Registration: Registration closes the day prior to the program. All participants must register in advance.
  • Location: Registered participants should meet at the Boat Ramp at 9 a.m.

Can You Conquer Climb UPton?

Take on the largest ropes course in the Mid-Atlantic with 90 elements across three challenge levels. Climb UPton is open Wed. & Thurs., 4-8pm, Fri. 4-9pm and Sat. & Sun. 10am-9pm.

Plan for Fall Fun at Temple Hall Farm Pumpkin Patch & Flower Fields

Pick your own pumpkin and flowers, take a wagon ride, visit the farm animals, bounce on inflatable pillows, slide down hill slides, and more! Open daily September 26 through November 3. Visit opening weekend for an in augural Pumpkin Blast by NOVA Parks' Executive Director on Saturday, Sept. 26 at 11:45am and live music between noon-4pm both days.
