NOVA Parks Connects Underserved Children with Nature Through Programming

NOVA Parks is partnering with the Arlington Regional Master Naturalists, Northern Virginia Audubon Society, the NAACP Arlington Branch, and the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Washington to help underserved children connect with nature.As part of a series of programs of Upton Hill Regional Park, children learn to use a compass, identify animal habitats, and meet live animals. This program is strongly connected to the mission of all the partnering groups and is a key objective of NOVA Parks’ 5-year Strategic Plan.
