Swim Lessons
Swim lessons at Great Waves Waterpark are the perfect way for your kids to brush up on their water skills. Lessons are available for the youngest beginners to age 11. Registration for classes is now open.
Preschool Learn To Swim Ages 3-5
Preschool Learn to Swim classes offer 30 minutes of instruction. The purpose of this class is to help students feel comfortable in the water without the presence of the parent. Students continue to learn elementary water skills and safety tips that will stay with them throughout all swim lesson levels. Sophie the Safety Seal’s WaterSmart rules are enforced for increased water safety.
Requirements: Must be able to leave parent willingly, be comfortable in the water and follow directions.
Maximum class size of 6 students. Classes require a minimum of 2-3 participants to run.

Level 1 & 2 Learn to Swim Ages 5-11
Level 1 & 2 Learn to Swim classes offer 30 minutes of instruction building on previously learned elementary water skills and water safety rules. All elementary water skills are reinforced to become second nature to the students. Students are taught the skills needed to complete a 25-yard swim for each of the following: elementary backstroke, front crawl, and backstroke.
Maximum class size of 6 students. Classes require a minimum of 2-3 participants to run.
