Looking for several unique ways to celebrate mother’s day over the coming weeks? We have some awesome options just for you!
Potomac Overlook Nature Hike (Arlington, VA)
May 13 | 8:00-10:00am
On Saturday, May 13, from 8:00 am – 10:00 am, treat mom to an early mother’s day on this fun and educational nature walk in the park. Learn about local wildlife, plants, and the history of the park. Enjoy coffee and bagels in the nature center after our walk. $10 per participant. Appropriate for adults and families with children ages 12 & up. Meet at the nature center.

PAINTING AT THE MILL (Aldie, VA)
May 13 | 2:00-5:00pm
Join our "Mill Artist," Cynthia McGranahan, for a painting workshop at Aldie Mill. Cynthia will teach each participant how to paint a picture of the historic mill to take home. Included in the three-hour workshop will be wine and light refreshments. This will be an afternoon to remember -- a treat for Mom on Mother's Day weekend, or a gift to yourself! The fee covers all supplies, personal instruction, your finished art work, and refreshments. Proceeds benefit Aldie Mill's educational programs in the community.
