CAMP GROW at Meadowlark Botanical Gardens, in Vienna, VA, invites children and teens to explore nature through hands-on activities, gardening, discovery walks, hikes, crafts, experiments, storytelling, woodworking, and animal programs.

CAMP GROW is designed to engage, challenge, educate, and encourage a sense of community. We value and encourage inclusion of all campers in every activity.

Each day, campers bring their own snacks, lunches and beverages and come dressed for the weather and activities. All campers and parents are required to sign a Rules of Conduct form that focuses on fostering a positive and cooperative camp environment.

REGISTRATION:  Registration will begin Saturday, March 13, 2021 at 10am.  All registrations are processed and paid for online.  For questions regarding registration, please email Park Specialist Jeff Hill at jhill@nvrpa.org.​

When you are online registering your camper, PLEASE LOOK FOR AND DOWNLOAD THE REQUIRED FORMS AND CAMP INFORMATION (Rules of Conduct, Pickup Authorization, and Immunization) or simply   All completed forms should be emailed to Park Specialist Jeff Hill at jhill@nvrpa.org or dropped off at Meadowlark Botanical Gardens.  PLEASE DO NOT WAIT UNTIL THE FIRST DAY OF CAMP TO COMPLETE AND SUBMIT THESE FORMS. 

Refund Policy: There are no refunds for missed days due to changed work or vacation schedules or sick days. Refunds minus a $25 administration fee (when canceling an entire camp week registration only) will be provided only for entire camp week cancellations made at least 45 days prior to the first day of the camp session.  Please email jhill@nvrpa.org if you need to withdraw your child from camp.

Meadowlark Botanical Gardens Teen Ambassadors (Ages 13-16)
This year, teen campers will not only enjoy gardening, nature hikes, afternoon water games, crafts, and woodworking, but also a variety of service projects: building animal homes, removing invasive plants, creating decorative and educational elements for the Gardens.  This can be an opportunity for community service hours, content for college and other applications, and to feel great about working on projects that will benefit the community.  (Please be aware that due to the pandemic, there will be no camp field trips this year.)

Cost:  $370 per camper in jurisdiction / $420 per camper out of jurisdiction*

Explorers (Ages 10-13)
Explorers will participate in a variety of activities including on-site and take-home planter gardening, nature hikes, water games, arts & crafts, woodworking, experiments, animal programs, and a garden service project.   (Please be aware that due to the pandemic, there will be no camp field trips this year.)

Cost:  $370 per camper in jurisdiction / $420 per camper out of jurisdiction*

Dragonflies (Ages 8-10)
Dragonflies will participate in a variety of activities including gardening, nature hikes, games,

SPROUTS (Ages 5-7) 
Sprouts will participate in a variety of activities including nature hikes, games, exploration, storytelling, arts & crafts, live animal presentations, and more!  All Sprout activities will be at Meadowlark Botanical Gardens and will not involve swimming.   

Cost:  $250 per camper in jurisdiction / $300 per camper out of jurisdiction*
Camp Hours:  9:00am-1:00pm (Campers bring lunches to eat in the Gardens.)
