Join us for guided tours of the 1851 Old School Baptist Church, site of an 1864 battle, and the adjacent cemetery. Tours include a living history presentation with Union army doctor describing how the church was used as a hospital during the war.

Come and play Agents of Discovery, a fun and educational mobile based app that takes you across our park as you complete challenges and learn about animals and nature! Meet at the nature center where our naturalist will help you download and learn how to use the app, and then you can set off into the park to complete as many challenges as you can! Complete all challenges and report back to our naturalist to receive a special prize! Please make sure you come with a mobile device that is ready to download the app or have the app pre-downloaded. Program is FREE to all participants and registration not required. All children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

The Northern Virginia Regional Park Authority (NOVA Parks) system owns some of the most important historic sites in the region! Chairman of NOVA Parks and Arlingtonian Mike Nardolilli will discuss the creation of NOVA Parks 60 years ago and the history that can be found in the three parks in Arlington (Potomac Overlook, Upton Hill, and the W&OD Trail) and elsewhere in the NOVA Parks system. Find out how Northern Virginia wound up with its own regional park system and what history each preserve. in this special presentation commemorating 60 years of NOVA Parks.

Doggie Dash 5k

Bull Run Regional Park, Centreville, VA

Join us for another fun 5k at Bull Run! Have your dog bring their favorite human or humans for a 5k run or walk at our Special Events Center.
