Christmas Bird Count

Dec 29
8:00am to 11:00am

Join our roving naturalist on a citizen science quest to count and record as many species and individual birds as you can! See cardinals, nuthatches, red-bellied woodpeckers, chickadees, juncos, and more. If we're lucky, we may even spot some rare species! You get to take part in real hands-on ecological research, as all regional data recorded will be submitted to local compilers and published. No prior experience required, just a positive attitude and willingness to brave the cold! Binoculars provided, but feel free to use your own. Please register below so we know how many participants are planning to show up. Time and location subject to change. Contact Matt Felperin at for more information. Ages 12 and up. FREE!
